Before hitting the waves, you'll learn the essentials: board design, ocean awareness, and the perfect pop-up, plus the unspoken rules of surf etiquette. Dollar breaks it all down in plain language, so you step into the water knowing exactly what to expect.
Then it's time to paddle out. Beginner sessions run at the island's friendliest breaks, usually Razors or Lacerations on the right day, where the wave peels gently over a reef in waist-to-chest-high water. With Dollar in the water guiding every step, you'll catch your first waves, build confidence, and soon be turning down the line.
